2025 INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS
HOPARE(FR)
Within just ten years, Alexandre Monteiro, known as HOPARE, has become an iconic figure in urban art before the age of 35. He is part of the street art movement, where he honed, structured, and built his "street" art.
HOPARE transcends artistic currents with his desire to contribute and express his uniqueness. He masterfully engages with various forms of artistic expression: canvases, murals, sculptures, and azulejos. His artistic drive compensates for a void left by a fragile society, driven by ideas of reconstruction, connection, and creativity as a vector of hope.
HOPARE's distinctive feature is the generous beauty of figurative art in all his works. His portraits convey immense humanity,
combining the power of emotion in the gaze with the technical precision of his lines and textures on his canvases. He balances
lightness and rigor in his work, exploring different genres and stepping out of his comfort zone to embrace the unknown and renewal
with immense humility. Like a traveler seeking his promised land, HOPARE is always on the move, believing that "no border separates us," and
his encounters along the way become his works.
Freedom is the meaning he gives to his life and his career. His powerful works have won over collectors the world over.

STOHEAD (DE)
Stohead, born in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany in 1973, has been based in Berlin since 2006. He began his journey into art at the age of 14,
starting as a traditional graffiti artist. In 1999, he lived in various cities, spending a significant period in Hamburg, where he
became a member of the artist collective "getting-up" and embarked on his path as an independent artist and illustrator.
His passion for character design extends into his sculptural works, which evolved from his earlier figurative pieces created in the studio. These sculptures showcase his exceptional craftsmanship, a skill refined through years of hands-on experience and training during his career. For Stohead, the raw essence of graffiti—tagging and throw-ups—now represents a form of modern calligraphy. This approach has influenced his unique artistic language on canvas, which he has termed Round Tip.

ISAAC CORDAL (ES)
Isaac Cordal's Cement Eclipses employs small, meticulously placed sculptures to
comment on societal behaviors and humanity's disconnection from nature. By miniaturizing human figures and situating them in everyday
scenarios, Cordal transforms mundane street spaces into thought-provoking installations. These scenes focus on the routine tasks of
contemporary life, offering a critical perspective on the collateral impacts of modern evolution.
The sculptures, often positioned in unexpected locations like gutters, bus shelters, or building tops, capture moments of isolation or
motion that resonate on multiple levels. While they provoke reflection on the absurdity of human existence, they also invite empathy by
portraying relatable experiences such as waiting for buses, leisure activities, or tragic events like accidents and funerals. Despite
their vulnerability and imperfection, these figures reflect a fragile balance between demolition and survival, embodying fragments of
hope in their connection to nature. Through his work, Cordal opens windows to alternate perspectives and highlights the precariousness
of society's construction.
EMIC (IE)
Emic, a muralist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been active since 2012. Initially creating paper paste-ups of deconstructed architectural designs, his work has since evolved into large-scale, hand-painted murals. His art combines realism with abstraction, blending human, natural, and geometric forms to tell compelling stories. At the heart of his creative process is a focus on people and place, crafting pieces that reflect the unique identity of the locations they inhabit.
Emic is renowned for his distinctive use of color and tone, weaving figurative, botanical, and abstract elements into his compositions. Through his work, he subtly explores the intricate and layered nature of contemporary life, creating art that resonates with the complexity of the twenty-first-century human experience.
EL RUGHI (IT)
Originally from Martina Franca, a town in southern Italy, El Rughi discovered his passion for art at a young age, using it as an outlet to combat boredom. His creative journey led him to travel through Italy, Spain, and Germany, experimenting with various techniques and styles until he developed his unique artistic approach. His work fuses classic graffiti with influences from children's illustrations, tattoo artistry, and comic book aesthetics.
Now dividing his time between London, Barcelona, and Italy, El Rughi engages in multiple artistic pursuits. Beyond painting murals,
he works as a tattoo artist, practices serigraphy, and produces self-published zines focusing on street art, illustration, and
underground comics.
NESPOON (PL)
NeSpoon was born in 2009 and has exhibited her work in over 100 cities across 40 countries on five continents. Her creations, featured in renowned media like The Guardian and Elle, have been displayed in public spaces, museums, and notable events such as Expo Dubai 2020 and the Louvre Museum in Lens, France.
Her art, a blend of urban influences, painting, and traditional ceramics, is defined by lace patterns that symbolize universal beauty and harmony. Inspired by natural forms like flowers and snowflakes, her works evoke nostalgia and positivity. She uses lace motifs as a metaphor for human connections and social relationships, emphasizing the feminine legacy of lace-making. This aspect resonates with her audience, where a significant majority are women.
TOY_BOX (CZ)
Toy Box is an illustrator, comic book author, and painter who bridges the realms of street art and the formal art world. Initially
starting with graffiti, she later transitioned to creating murals and large-scale cover illustrations. Through her work, she boldly
addresses pressing social issues, highlighting injustices and advocating for the rights of homeless people, minorities, women, and
animals. Her book,
The Comics Textbook of Comics, blends practical guidance with personal reflections and dreams. One of her
notable projects in Pilsen, part of the People In Need initiative
Faces of Climate Change, aims to inspire action on global challenges.
